Max the Cockapoo
We’ve been working with Nina from Clear Dog Training for the past few months to train our very excitable little Cockapoo, Max, and the results have been fantastic. From the very beginning, Nina was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She clearly understands dogs on a deeper level, and knows how to bring out the best in them.
Max absolutely loves his sessions with her, and we’ve seen huge improvements in his behaviour, confidence, and responsiveness. Nina’s approach is calm, patient, and positive, and she always takes the time to explain techniques, so we can continue the training at home.
What really stands out is her genuine care and passion – she doesn’t just train dogs, she builds a bond with them, and their owners! We would class Nina as a family friend, now. We couldn’t be happier with the progress Max has made, (and we as owners), thanks to her guidance.
We would recommend Nina to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dog trainer.
Luna the French Bulldog
We have a French bulldog we re homed, she was very anxious reacting to other dogs and everything that moved, we worked with Nina for a number of weeks as we wanted our dog to be a happy dog with nothing to worry about, we started with sort walks and treats meeting our friends dog and walking together.
The transformation in our little girl in 4-5 months is unbelievable she is a much happier dog we still have to keep at it but I’m sure we gained her trust now and have one happy little girl.

Bam Bam the Leonberger
We were struggling with our dog Bam Bam’s reactivity on walks (as well as some other issues).
Nina has transformed Bam Bam’s reactivity and now walking him is a pleasure.
She also showed us what we needed to do to help with the other issues.
If you have any training needs I couldn’t recommend Nina highly enough.
Paddy the Chocolate Labrador
I contacted Nina after adopting Paddy at 5 months old. He hadn’t been trained in his first few months very much at all and we were really struggling with him jumping up at everyone in sight, no recall and pulling on lead. Nina has been amazing during our 1:1 sessions and Paddy has fallen in love with her.
She has such a positive view of training and everything is done in a calm and happy way that training has been so enjoyable. I didn’t really notice but she was also training me which helped me relax on walks. I also really wanted to be able to take him to places where we could have a drink or lunch and Nina came up with ways of helping Paddy behave in different settings. My best moment was being out for lunch with Paddy sat under the table and at the end of our meal, the people on the next table saw Paddy poke his face out and they couldn’t believe there had been a dog there the whole time.
I adore Paddy and wanted a trainer to enhance our joy with him rather than be a chore.
Nina is a first class trainer and would recommend her to anyone who wants to enhance their time with their fur baby.

Maddy the Cockerpoo
Nina is such a fantastic dog trainer who I would highly recommend! I attended a group training session with my Cockerpoo Maddy and straight away Nina could see how anxious Maddy was.
Since having 1:1 sessions with Nina, the training exercises have had such a massive, positive impact on Maddy. Before we started the sessions Maddy would growl or bark at any other dogs that came near her. During the sessions Nina gave us exercises to work on and Maddy is a totally different dog and so much more relaxed.
Nina was so professional, helpful and supportive throughout the training and I would definitely recommend her. Thank you so much for everything Nina!
Miriam the Norwich Terrier
When we brought our terrier pup, Miriam home we were a little out of our depths. Even the breeder said she was part Tasmanian devil. Nina came round from the start and really turned things around. She checked on health, temperament and our home set up. Not only did she give us breed specific tips but also ones for Miriam’s personality. She gave us clear actions for a smart but wilful pup. Nina also made us feel confident, capable and at ease. Letting us know that problems would rise up but patience would win. At 6 months old, people now stop us in the street and say how well behaved Miriam is.
I couldn’t recommend Nina more. She is personal, practical, humble and full of knowledge.
Puppy preparation - Jules
Nina was incredibly helpful when we consulted her for advice on preparing for a puppy, with excellent suggestions on puppy proofing and initial behaviour training. Her calm and rational approach was really reassuring for me as a nervous first-time puppy owner, would highly recommend!
